Whale Watching in Winter, top it off with a Port!

Whale breaching off Tomaree Heads, Port Stephens, Australia

Whale breaching

Whale Tail ! Off Tomaree Heads, Port Stephens, Australia

During the winter chill we recommend two things to do on your Port Stephens visit....

1. Whale Watching...and;
2. A drop of our delicious Divers Luck Port

During the winter months Port Stephens is host to the migrating Whales that travel North to South - from the warm Queensland waters of Hervey Bay back to their chilly breading grounds in the Antarctic Ocean.

Peak Season is August, you will find a number of tour boats who offer day cruises to see the whales, located at the Marina in Nelson Bay.

Following your Whale Watching experience, we recommend to top off your day with a nip of the very popular Divers Luck Decompression Port, one of our best sellers especially during winter months. Also you can try our Dessert Wines; The Divers Sticky and our super popular SILK.

Wine Tastings are free and are available at our Cellar Door open daily 10am-4pm.
